Sillustani Tour

On a plateau, more than 30 miles north of Puno, is Sillustani, one of the world's largest necropolis. Surrounded by a landscape of stunning beauty that seems summed up in the calm waters of the lagoon Umayo, the archaeological site known for its giant "chullpas" (species of stone towers), built by Collas and Incas, to bury their dead.

Many of them exceeding 12 meters in height and have a greater diameter at the top than at the base. Quite a challenge to the laws of gravity and balance. One detail that makes them unique on the continent.

Itinerary:

14:00 pm: Pick up from hotels.

15:30 pm: Arrival and visit to Sillustani.

6:20 p.m.: Arrival to the city of Puno.
